Janine Cifelli — President

Janine Ellman Cifelli is President of Janine Cifelli Representation, a travel industry representation firm specializing in public relations, marketing, reservations and sales for small premier resorts and hotels around the world. She is known for her dedication, honesty and personalized attention to clients, media relations and travel agency professionals. Janine is well respected for her professionalism and attention to detail.

During her 20 years in the luxury travel business with Sanctuare (formerly Resorts Management), Janine has amassed a comprehensive resume of developing unique properties and putting them on the industry radar. Janine has held senior positions in travel agency sales, marketing, public relations and reservations arenas. She not only managed public relations responsibilities for five Sanctuare properties (including Palazzo Sasso, Amalfi coast and Sir Richard Branson's Limited Edition by Virgin; Necker Island in the Caribbean, Ulusaba Private Game Reserve in South Africa and Kasbah Tamadot in Morocco) but also handled client relations and travel industry sales for Necker Island.

Janine is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers, and has been active within the prestigious Virtuoso luxury travel network for thirteen years. Janine has participated in panel discussions for both the Luxury Travel Expo (NYC 2005) and The International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM, Cannes, December 2006). She is Board of Advisor Member for Equity Estates LLC, a luxury real estate investment fund specializing in vacation homes around the globe.

Janine believes that owning her own public relations, marketing, sales and reservations business within the travel industry is a natural progression in a career she has spent years crafting and applying her trade. She is very passionate about her work and demonstrates that in her commitment to her clients.


Anthony Cifelli — Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Anthony began his career in the hotel business with American Hotels in New York in 1984. He went on to corporate sales positions with La Quinta Hotel & Golf and Hyatt Hotels. He was responsible for developing the corporate sales efforts for Virgin Atlantic, North America.

In the early 90's Anthony decided to do move in a totally different direction and go back to school to become a Chiropractor. He has been running a successful practice for the past 10 years.

As Janine Cifelli Representation continued to grow and times change, it was decided to expand the capabilities of our services. By bringing in Anthony, we can provide our clients with expertise in the MICE markets. Anthony will also keep JCR current with rapid advances in technology, database management, digital marketing, website marketing and social networking.

Beverley Matthews — Consultant

Beverley, in partnership with her husband Shaun Matthews, began her career in the field of high-end hospitality with the concept, development and operation of Necker Island, Sir Richard Branson’s private island resort in the British Virgin Islands.  Beverley established and managed the pre-eminent North American hideaway, Twin Farms, earning its’ Mobil Five-Star status in just its second year of operation. Twin Farms went on to achieve multiple accolades including the Zagat number one rated hotel in the US.  Most recently Beverley has been utilizing her 25 years of experience consulting on development projects for Steve Case at Kapalua Maui, Aman Resorts at Norman’s Cay in the Exumas, and again with Sir Richard Branson to revitalize Necker Island.  Currently engaged on the development of a prestigious historic Demesne in Ireland, Beverley and her husband reside predominantly in the Perigord Vert region of France.

Keith Waldon — Vice President, Marketing | Virtuoso

A native Texan, Waldon has dedicated his career to luxury travel marketing.  Currently celebrating his tenth year with Virtuoso, the luxury travel network that he named, Waldon serves as Vice President in the company’s marketing division, where he focuses on brand extension through alliance relationships and loyalty/reward programs.  From his farmhouse office in the Texas hill country west of Austin, Waldon also co-owns and manages Surnami, an innovative brand development firm (www.surnami.com).

Marc Telio — Owner, Entree Destinations

A Montrealer by origin, Marc Telio has been a traveler since his mid-teens.  Having traveled extensively across Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe and North America, Telio is all about enriching travel.  He has climbed to the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro, surfed on Australia’s Gold Coast, rafted through the jungle in Nepal, spent extensive time in the Himalayas, enjoyed helicopter dogsledding and flown at zero gravity.  This love for world experiences drove him to making his career in the travel industry.  From his headquarters in VancouverBC, Telio owns and operates Entrée Canada, Entrée Alaska and Entrée Yachts.  All three are well-respected members of the luxury travel industry, serving his guests to the highest standards in the destinations that he operates (www.entreedestinations.com).
