Sanctuary Retreats have locations in the picturesque corners of Tuscany and Umbria, the world-famous vineyards of France and the warm climate of southern Spain. Recently added to the portfolio are the beautifully situated villas in Croatia, Capri and Mallorca.

Each location was added with an eye for the authentic sights, flavors and experiences of the region. Sanctuary Retreats truly believes that privacy, choice and independence are key components to a successful villa vacation.

Services

Sanctuary Hosted provides a range of services to provide practicality and pampering to guests. Welcome touches include daily maid service, a local orientation, arrival supper, fully-stocked refrigerator with beverages, pool towels and provisions. A Sanctuary Host is there to greet each client upon arrival. This local 'friend in the know' has been carefully screened for their knowledge, experience and contacts in the region. This personal support is an invaluable tool for travelers searching for that extra detail to ensure they get the most out of their stay.

Tailor Made, a "villa only" option, allows the vacationer to choose the types of services they need, from maids to cooks to nannies, as required. Clients can select services designed to make their stay as comfortable as possible. And a Sanctuary representative is only a phone call away in the event of an emergency.

Sanctuary Retreats believes that Villas are the private alternative to a hotel. They offer flexibility, choice and peace of mind by providing an innovative substitute to typical hotel accommodations.

Location

Sanctuary Retreats' success is due to their regional offices in Florence, the Côte d'Azur, Paris, and coming soon to Dubrovnik, Croatia. These offices, centrally located to support their portfolio of villas, provide additional services that differentiate Sanctuary Retreats from other villa agencies, all bookable via one central contact.

In Italy, there are 21 villas from which to choose, all differing in style and location. Travelers can select a villa from regions that include Florence, Tuscany, Bay of Naples & Capri, and Umbria.

In France, there are also 21 properties to choose from. They are located in the Côte d'Azur, Provence and Dordogne.

In Spain, 5 villas are located in the most picturesque regions including: Andalucia, Catalonia and Mallorca.

In Greece and Croatia, choose from 4 wonderfully situated villas, offering breathtaking views and modern conveniences.

For those travelers in accommodations in the heart of the most beautiful cities in the world, select an apartment in Venice, Florence, Tuscany and Paris.

Accommodations

All properties in the Sanctuary Retreats portfolio vary in design from tranquil retreats to cutting edge designer pads. The properties have been restored or developed with the authentic European sights, flavors and experiences in mind. Select a villa with original antiques, enjoy stunning views of the bay of St Tropez, or stay on the grounds of a former winery.

While each villa has been selected to provide the utmost in comfort and luxury, Sanctuary Retreats rates each villa so guests can choose from accommodations based on several factors. This one to three feather rating distinguishes the properties by location, facilities and value.

Families

Perfect for families, a villa holiday ensures the utmost in privacy and the freedom for all age travelers. Children can run and play at leisure without the concern of disturbing other guests.

The Sanctuary Host can arrange for a professional nanny service and accommodate guests by providing high chairs and strollers, or a variety of other equipment as needed. Take advantage of a pre-ordered shopping service to ensure provisions are on hand upon arrival, and arrange to have some of the best cooks in the region prepare meals.

Activities

Selecting from either the Sanctuary Hosted or Tailor Made option, clients can choose from the little extras that combine the independence of a villa holiday with the peace of mind of bespoke service.

Rates, quoted in US dollars, range from $3,655 - $113,000 per week depending on location, season, feather rating and whether the holiday is Sanctuary Hosted or Tailor Made.
